TROOF FALL UPDATE!!!

Nuttin But The Troof has been super-busy over the Spring and Summer of 2006, making sure everybody in the "DMV" (D.C.; Maryland; Virginia) recognizes that we are determined to be a MAJOR contributor to establishing DC as a top talent pool on the EAST COAST!!

Thursday, September 15, 2005: Cornucopia Music Festival @ Phish Tea Cafe- Washington, DC

Once again, the Troof's Sultry Songstress MISTY HEAVENS proved why we feel "our talent is the proof," as she energized the crowd during the R&B Showcase night of the Cornucopia Music Festival, which appeared at 5 D.C. Venues in 6 Days, and showcased 100+ artists representing all 50 states.

Show 'N Groove Series II: Celebrating Black Music Month @ Cada Vez: June 2005

Once again, Nuttin But The Troof Entertainment was represented well by MISTY HEAVENS, as she got the crowd of about 100 artists and music fans grooving with a 12-minute medley of her original songs! This was not a competition setup, but Misty made sure that all who were in attendance understood that she is quickly rising on the music scene and soon music fans everywhere will be fortunate enough to have some musical "mist" fall into their life. Atlantic Records Showcase- Final Round Results: May 2005

The final round of the Atlantic Records Showcase presented by Fortune Entertainment and Diverse Entertainment spotlighted some good talent from the Washington, DC area, and attracted a decnt sized crowd that packed Cada Vez Restaurant & Lounge located in the U Street corridor.

Performing early in the first set, CORNBREAD was on 5th, and was the first artist to energize the crowd, and officially set things off, as he performed "Sick & Tired" first, and ending with an energizing performance of "Bounce To Dis" (listen to it our MP3 player), that had the crowd on their feet and yelling "Coooooooorrrrrrnnnbread!" as he emphatically and repetiously requested.

MISTY HEAVENS performed early in the second set, and had the crowd rocking to "The Right One", and ensured that all eyes were on her (especially the fellas) while she seduced the crowd with a hot performance of "The One For Me".

All-in-all the Troof Artists produced some great performances, and represented the Troof well despite some major sound issue, and other questionable situations. We took a "L" (loss) in this final round, but feel good about relishing another opportunity to let the rest of the world in on the TROOF!
